James Farrah graduated from The Pennsylvania State University in 1973 with a BFA in Painting, Graphic Design, and Photography, and holds signature memberships in the The American Watercolor Society, The National Watercolor Society, The National Acrylic Painters Association, The Western Federation of Watercolor Societies, and The Arizona Watercolor Association. His award winning paintings are in the permanent collections of The Tucson Art Museum, The National Watercolor Society, The National Art Museum of Sport at Perdue University, The New Mexico Folk Art Museum in Sante Fe, as well as in hundreds of private collections world wide. James teaches at the Chandler-Gilbert Community College, Gilbert, Arizona and the Mesa Arts Center in Mesa, Arizona. He is also an instructor for annual painting workshops at The Hameau Studios in Belleville, Pennsylvania, and at the Meg Munro Gallery and Studio in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico.
